Total Systems Control Ltd has now released their new generation Controller named LC103. This new controller now replaces the LC102 controller which has been in operation for over 10 years.

This new controller uses a PLC (Programmable Logic Control) and has a colour touch screen.

Both of these major components are supplied by major international manufacturers.

The PLC is manufactured by Siemans and the touch screen by Hakko Electronics a subsidiary of Fuji Electrical. All major parts are standard stock items.

Most of the features of the LC102 controller have been repeated and improved in the LC103.

The large 5.7 inch (14.5cm) screen enables colour and graphics to be used. This improves the user friendliness of the new controller to operators and supervisors.

Target and actual bath levels are constantly up loaded and displayed. The same detail is also shown for Temperature.

The name of the wash formula is displayed together with the estimated time till the wash is completed. This is automatically calculated on run history.

A memory card for back up is also included.

Any stoppages will be easier to identify as the screen automatically gives detailed reasons. A "HELP" file can be accessed.

To make any program changes pass word access is needed for each level. This enables a log to be viewed showing who made changes and when. This is particularly useful to track formula changes.

This controller can be retro fitted to all types and makes of Washer Extractors.
